Maybe it's because I feel bad for Howard and wish he won and turned it all around. Maybe it's because I'm watching that scumbag kill him, his cousin, and get away with everything we've seen Howard stressed to earn and hold onto. Maybe it's because we can infer that Howie's girlfriend will be followed by the goons, maybe killed, and robbed of the money. It's all just chaos, and death is perhaps a bittersweet release for a fast-talking, gambling addict like Howard. Your insight helps me make sense of it all, within all the film's chaos. I didn't really like the film very much. The Witch: baa baa Hereditary: tongue click Midsommar: hard exhale The Lighthouse: Why'd ya spill yur beans. This is an awesome movie. i knew 0 about it and didn't have any expectations either way. after finishing it, i was surprised i liked it so much. in fact, i frequently dislike, or even hate, these kinds of movies. i gave good time a 4/10. but something about this movie was borderline mesmerizing. the music and the yelling, at first i thought it might get annoying but it didn't. i thought i would want it to slow down but i didn't.
great performance by sandler. great directing. some beautiful shots. the story keeps you invested but at the same time wears you out, in a good way (if that makes sense lol. very well made overall (1 viewing 1/6/20.

11:38 The voice of what? Didn't know she was in this movie. This movie was insane, not in terms of action but it's the situations and following the crazy life of the main character. Everyone is great in it and the directors better be planning they re next project soon cause I can't wait. Just saw the excellent “uncut gems.” The crowd mustve expected another “daddy with his pants down” special, because I was the only one laughing at the jokes. Not everyones cup of tea, but great for sports fans and anyone who likes Scorsese. Kevin, dont lean on the glass.
